Co-director of Chips & Gravy Films, Alexandra Keddie is a producer, writer and actor based in Melbourne, best known for producing, creating and writing THE HOUSEMATE with Gemma Birtd Matheson. Alexandra also produced and created her solo-stage-show I SEE ME & MERYL STREET, which toured Australis in sell-out, critically acclaimed seasons.
In 2020, Alexandra completed two developments. The first through Screen Australia as producer, creator, writer of VERY AVERAGE GIRL (previousy She Becomes Her). The second through ABS Fresh Start for long-form comedy series SPREAD YOUR WINGS as producer, co-creator, co-writer.
In 2021 Alexandra released short form series THE POWER OF THE DREAM as associate producer, co-writer, co-creator and executive producer. Alexandra is also attached as Executive Producer on ME & HER(PES) which was funded for development and production by Screen Australia. In 2021 Alexandra will produce and script edit shor film YOU, ME & HIM.
Alexandra is a former student of RMIT's Advanced Diploma of Professional Screenwriting.
The daughter of a gender theorist, Alexandra is passionate about feminism, women, queer stories and gender representation both on and off-camera. In addition to this Alexandra is interested in musicals, overalls, food, bizarre family dynamics and good ol' fashioned social justice.
