Xavier is a prolific writer for stage and screen.
While at drama school he staged his upper middle class satire ‘Not Even God Can Save Us’ (ACA) which is currently in development for television with The Full Box Production Company. Since then he hasn’t looked back, with contributing writing credits to ‘Transience’ (ACA), two scenes for the 2017 Showcase (ACA), readings of his plays ‘By My Side’ (The Old Fitz), and ‘Break Out’ (Rapid Reads Festival, The Old 505 Theatre). Xavier was the recipient of the 2017 Terracina Estate Artistic Residency.
His stage credits include ‘Buried’ (The Old 505 Theatre), ‘Are You Listening Now?’ (The Old 505 Theatre), and ‘Caught Out’ (Sydney Fringe Festival and Bondi Feast) which took out the NIDA Award for Best Writer at the 2018 Sydney Fringe Festival. Xavier has a long list of plays drafted, including, ‘The Poem Promise’, ‘Murder Mall’, ‘The Great Emu War’, ‘Not Even God Can Save Us’, ‘Assorted’, ‘The World According to Jerry’, and ‘By My Side’.
Xavier's television credits include note taking on ‘Defy’, currently in development with Endemol Shine. He recently began writing for season 2 of Channel 10’s new show ‘Five Bedrooms’, written by Michael Lucas and Christine Bartlett.
Currently in development for television are ‘Avoiding Paralysis’, and ‘Getting Over Gary’, a 6x 30 minute episode comedy series.
Xavier is the author of feature films ‘Grief Is An Ugly Colour On You’, a black comedy, and drama ‘Changing Tides’.
He currently has his short film ‘Slippery Slope’ in development with critically acclaimed director Adrian Chiarella.
